KALOR HUMUNIAH (1982)

'Kalor Humuniah' is a novel based on the tea estate Shingal in Sofari, Sibsagar. The owner of the tea estate is n Englishman. The suppression and exploitation of the Englishman towards the tea garden labourers and how they oppose suppression and agitate for their rights, is vividly written in the novel. The culture of the tea garden labourers is also wonderfully picturised in it.
