CHENAKI SUTI (1971)

'Chenaki Suti' is a story about a highly educated girl Aparna whosw looks and nature attracts an architect, Anath. Anath is in love with a Punjabi girl Panela also. Another middle aged married persn, Jibon Dasgupta falls in love with Aparna. He leaves his wife and two children to be with Aparna but according to Aparna, love should be eternal and true. So Aparna bids farewell to both Dasgupta and Anath and starts a new life of 'sanyasi'. She stays for some time at an Ashram in Darjeeling but disappears from there also. She manages to reunite Dasgupta with his wife and children and donates her ornaments and belongings to Anath's child and Pamela. It is a story of true eternal love and sacrifice.
