NASTASANDHRA (1968)

'Nostasandhra' is a novel about an old person's feelings on having to hear the death of his wife. He later goes on to marry a beautiful young girl but his wife is not happy living with the old man and does not seem to satisfy her needs. So she secretly has an extra-marital affair and later leaves him alone. The main character of the novel is Bipul and his second wife is Suwanikan who tries to satisfy her needs through Bipul's daughter-in-law's brother. The author's minute observation of the characters has been highly praised and is an invaluable treasure of human sentiments.
